Jim Corrick

Hi all,
I almost forgot to send this out, but we lost another classmate. My sister sent me the following text about Jim Corrick. I had not heard of this from anyone, so want to pass it on. Jim was really a sweet guy whom I dated several times.
The important thing is to know Jim is gone now forever. I will be contacting many of our classmates regarding this so that they can know in their own way.Sandee

Hi Sandee,
I forgot to tell you this on my e-mail last night. Jim Corrick died on
March 26, 2009. His daughter lives on the other side of Vi. Jim and her
mother divorced a long time ago and when they first moved there she told
me she didn't have much to do with her father (Jim) but a few years
ago she started to have a little more contact with him. After their
vacation last summer (she saw her dad when she was on vacation) she told
me that he had cancer. I don't know if you have heard this info about
his death but I looked at the web site and his name was not on the
"we remember". When she told me he had died I told her about
the web site and that I would let you know. Sorry this is bad news but
was sure you would like to let others know.

I called Jim a month or two ago and we had a nice long chat. He seems
upbeat as always although annoyed with the things he had to deal with
relative to the prostrate cancer. He sounded good and as humorous as
ever. Although the body was failing his mind was sound and alert, which
is better than some of us. Jim was a great guy and will be missed.
