Mayfair Class of '61 45th Reunion

With a Special Invitation to Classes of 1962, 1963 and 1964

Enclosed are...

1. Registration forms including an outline of the Dinner and Dance Plans, Golf Tournament and their cost to you.
   
   
2. A list of our classmates (which are also posted on our class website www.mayfair61.com) we either haven¹t gotten an address for or who have not responded to our email messages or mailings. Please check the list over carefully. If some of those people were your special pals when we were all in school together, perhaps you¹ve kept in touch and know their whereabouts, or maybe they had responded to a letter from you where they haven¹t responded to the committee¹s efforts. Either way let us know if you have information we can use. We are anxious to have everyone attend if possible.

   It¹s important that you dig up some of those circa 1961 photographs and send them in with your registration and check for one of Phil Burney¹s always entertaining Reunion Programs. The photographs will be returned to you Reunion Night. We¹d especially like pictures of those of you who cannot attend, but would like to be remembered by our classmates. With 21st Century technology ever present, the Memory Book will not be a printed booklet, but posted in a special area on our official class website www.mayfair61.com, which can be viewed by your children, grand children and great grand children for years to come and will have a feature so you can print all or a portion of it on your home computer. The long line for the Memory Book portraits will also be done away with. This reunion there will be a hired photographer to visit all tables during dinner and take candid photos of couples and singles for display on the website Memory Book section. The photographer will also be around taking action shots throughout the evening.

Our Venue

The Elegant and Spacious Weintgart Ball Room is located in the familiar and nostalgic surroundings of the Lakewood City Hall facility on Clark Avenue just up the street from Mayfair Park and across from the Lakewood Center. The Weingart Ballroom has a stage for Phil and our live oldies and beach boy band and a lot of adjacent room for dancing. As in Palm Springs, we have another no host Vic D'Errico style bar area that can accommodate classmates with refreshments throughout the evening.

For the first time ever, the Class of 1961 is extending a special invitation to the entire classes of 1962, 1963 and 1964 to have the 1960-1961 Mayfair High School Senior, Junior, Sophomore and Freshman classes together again. As in past class of '61 Reunions, we would like classmates to invite siblings and good friends. We would love to see them too. So, pass the registration information on to them (or simply send us their names and email and/or mailing addresses and we'll take care of it from there

Please mark that date on your calendar. Everyone sending the registration information in on or before May 1, 2006 will automatically be entered in a drawing for a free room at the Long Beach Airport Marriott for the nights of August 11th and August 12th . So, decide now to attend the reunion, and get your money and reservation in early.

Important note to the Golfers...

Due to a limited number of golf tee time slots, it will be first come first serve. So, if you're interested in playing in the Golf Tournament, please get your registration and checks in as soon as possible.
